AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 231 BY AMENDING SECTION 5.05.190 TO
PROVIDE THAT ANY PAWNBROKER LICENSED UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 231 SHALL MAINTAIN INSURANCE
AGAINST FIRE, MALICIOUS MISCHIEF, VANDALISM, AND
EXTENDED COVERAGE ON GOODS OR THINGS PAWNED OR PLEDGED,
FOR THE BENEFIT OF PLEDGORS; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Amendment. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 231
and Section 5.05.190 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code are amended
to read as follows:
5.05.190 Safekeeping of Pledges. Every pawnbroker
licensed under the provisions hereof shall provide
a safe place for the keeping of all goods or things
received and pawned, pledged or for re-sale and
shall have sufficient insurance on ~he-~e~e~y-he~

malicious mischief, vandalism, and with extended
coverage.
SECTION 2: Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this 26 day of 0¢t0ber , 1982.
