AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, DECLARING THAT
THE "IDAHO STATE JOURNAL," PUBLISHED IN POCATELLO, BANNOCK
COUNTY, IDAHO, APPARENTLY QUALIFIES AS A NEWSPAPER WITHIN
THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 60, IDAHO CODE, AND IS A NEWSPAPER
PUBLISHED WITHIN THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK
IS SITUATED, THERE BEING NO SUCH NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED WITHIN
THE CITY ITSELF; DESIGNATING THE "IDAHO STATE JOURNAL" AS
TH£ OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, PURSUANT TO IDAHO
CODE SECTION 50-213; RATIFYING PRIOR PUBLICATION OF
ALL PREVIOUS ORDINANCES, RESOULTIONS AND LEGAL NOTICES OF
ANY TYPE OR DESCRIPTION IN THE "IDAHO STATE JOURNAL;" AND
PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. Declaration. It appears and therefore
is declared that the "Idaho State Journal:, a daily newspaper
published at Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, conforms to
the qualifications of Title 60, Idaho Code, and is a newspaper
published within the county in which the City of Chubbuck is
situated, no such newspaper being published within the city
itself.
SECTION 2. Designation as Official Newspaper. The
"Idaho State Journal," a daily newspaper published at Pocatello,
Bannock County, Idaho, is hereby designated as the official
newspaper of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, pursuant to Idaho
Code, Section 50-213.
SECTION 3. Ratification. The prior publication of
ordinances, resolutions or other legal notices of any type
whatsoever in the "Idaho State Journal" is hereby ratified.
SECTION 4. Effective Date. The rule requiring ordinances
to be read on three (3) separate occasions is hereby dispensed
with, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this 12 thday of June , 1979.
