0224 Zoning Highway Acres Subdivision 1981ORDINANCE NO. ~__ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO. PROVIDING FOR THE LAND USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, PRESENTLY KNOWN AS THE "CITY SHOP PROPERTY," TO BE CHANGED FROM GENERAL RESIDENTIAL (R-2) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (C-2) IN THE ENTIRETY DECLARING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL FINDS SUC~ CHANGE TO BE CON- SISTENT WITH THE LAND USE PATTERN PRESCRIBED IN THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN~ AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1: Re-zoning. The land use district classification of following described land within the boundaries of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, presently known as the "city ShOD DroDerty," is hereby changed from general residential (R-2) to general commercial (C-2): The northerly 195 feet of Lot 14, Highway Acres Subdivision, Bannock County. Idaho. 'SECTION 2: ComDrehensive Plan. The Mayor and Council find, and therefore declare, that the foregoing change is consistent with the land use Dattern prescribed by the City Comprehensive Plan. SECTION 3: Effective Date. Full. public hearings having been conducted in this matter, the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate occasions is hereby dispensed with and this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication provided by law.
