NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City
Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM
on April 3, 2019 at Chubbuck City
Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone
Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho, with respect
to the following item:
An application for annexation in the City
of Chubbuck which consists of approxi-
mately 45 acres and with designation for
Limited Commercial (C-1) zoning. The
subject property is located within the
southeast 1/ of section 34, Township 5
South, Range 34 East, of the Boise
Meridian, Idaho. Location: Subject prop-
erty includes the following Bannock
County tax parcels: 83803055503,
83803055500, and R3803055504. The
general location is north and west of the
intersection of Siphon Road and Whitak-
er Road, extending west to and includ-
ing the Union Pacific Railroad Right -of -
Way, and north approximately 1,743
feet. and
a public hearing on
March 14, 2019 the Land Use and De-
velopment Commission recommended
the approval of Limited Commercial
C-1) zoning on the applicant's property
Bannock County parcel R3803055503),
and recommended approval of the peti-
tion for annexation with the condition of
obtaining written consent from the pri-
vate owner of the railroad parcel (Ban-
nock County parcel R3803055504).
A complete description of each item is
available to the public on request at the
City Office. Council packets will be
available at the City Office on March 27,
2019. Any and all persons may register
comments, protests, or agreements on
the hearing subjects being considered.
Oral testimony concerning these pro-
posals may be offered at the public
earing. Council may limit oral testimo-
ny. Written testimony must be received
by the City Clerk at least 7 days prior to
the hearing, shall comply with standards
established in City Code 18.28.020.D.7.,
and shall be considered public record.
City Hall and the City Council Chambers
are accessible for persons with disabili-
ties. Any person needing special ac-
commodations
scommodations to participate in the
meeting should contact the City Clerk,
Rich Morgan at 208.237.2400 at least
24 hours prior to the meeting.

of the United States of America more than 21 -
years of age, and the Principal Clerk of the Idaho
State Journal, a daily newspaper, printed and
published at Pocatello, Bannock County Idaho and
having a general circulation therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of
which is attached, was published in the said
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following

That said paper has been continuously and
