NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Land Use & Development Commission
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will con-
duct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on Au-
gust 14, 2018 at Chubbuck City Council
Chambers, 5360 Yellowstone Avenue,
Chubbuck, Idaho, with respect to the
following items:
Petitioner, City of Chubbuck, proposes
a Change in Land Use District from In-
dustrial (1) to Commercial General (C•2)
for all lands which are zoned Industrial
�I and which are located within the NE
of Section 10, Township 6 South,
Range 34 East of the Boise Meridian
and which are located between the rail-
road tracks on the eastern boundary
and Yellowstone Highway on the west-
ern boundary, and between East Chub -
buck Road on the northern boundary
and Interstate 86 on the southern
boundary. At the meeting, the Commis-
sion will review the request against cri-
teria established in Idaho Code 67-
6511, namely, whether the request con-
forms to the policies of the City's Com-
prehensive Plan and whether the re
quest would result in demonstrable ad-
verse impacts upon the delivery of ser-
vices by any political subdivision provid-
ing public services within the area, in-
cluding the school district. Type of Ac-
tion: Recommendation to the City Coun-
cil
A complete description of each item is
available to the public on request at the
City Office. Commission packet will be
available at the City Office on August 7,
2018 Any and all persons may register
comments, protests, or agreements on
the hearing subjects being considered.
Oral testimony concerning these pro-
posals may be offered at the public
hearing. Commission may limit oral tes-
timony. Written testimony must be re-
ceived. by the Planning Department at
least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall
comply with standards established in
City Code 18.28:020.D.7., and shall be
considered public record.
City Hall and the City Council Chambers
are accessible for persons with disabili-
ties. Any person needing special ac-
commodations to participate in the
meeting should contact the City Plan-
ner, Paul Andrus at 208.237.2430 at
least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
