HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-006 Record CustodiansCITY OF CHUBBUCK RESOLUTION No. 2018- OP A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING A DEFINITION OF CITY RECORD CUSTODIANS AND PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS ALTERNATES. WHEREAS, the City Clerk is the general custodian of the City Records, seal, and proceedings of the City and; WHEREAS, Idaho Code 74-101 requires the Council to adopt by Resolution a Records Custodian for each City Department and an alternate that will respond to public records requests; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to designate record Custodians for the Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments and; WHEREAS, as Department Custodians of City Records to also be designated as an alternate that will respond to public records requests; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Chubbuck effective, May 2, 2018 as follows: a. The Office Administrator of the Public Works Department is designated as the Record Custodian of the Public Works Department, b. The Office Administrator of the Police Department is designated as the Record Custodian of the Police Department, c. The Office Administrator of the Fire Department is designated as the Record Custodian of the Fire Department, and d. The City Clerk is designated as the Record Custodian of all City Records including the Public Works, Police, and Fire Departments. e. Department Custodians of City Records are also designated as an alternate that will respond to public records requests.
