O. BOX 242 We have examined the balance sheet of the funds of the City of Chubbuck for the year ended December 31, 1971 and the related statement of changes in fund balances and the statement of revenues and expenditures for the year then ended. Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, and accordingly included such tests of the accounting records and such other auditing procedures as we considered necessary in the circumstances, except as noted in the following paragraph. The City does not maintain detailed records of property, plant and equip- ment. Accordingly, we do not express any opinion concerning general fixed assets stated at $273,489.26. Because the general fixed assets at December 31, 1971 enter materially in- to the determination of financial position, we do not express an opinion on the accompanying balance sheet taken as a whole. However, in our opinion, the accompanying balance sheet does fairly present the assets, liabilities and fund balance of the general fund, waterworks fund, well fund, general obligation bond reserve fund and bonded debt and interest group of accounts at December 31, 1971. In our opinion, the accompanying statement of fund balances and statement of revenues and expenditures present fairly the results of operations of the City of Chubbuck for the year ended December 31, 1971 in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a basis consistent with that of the preceding year. tKE V. The other financial information, as listed in the table of contents, was de- rived from the accounting records tested by us as part of the audit- ing procedures followed in our examination of the above mentioned financial statements.
