LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR BIDS THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK
The City of Chubbuck will accept bids for
Solicitation No. RFB 2017-11-01, a Re-
quest for Bids for the construction of the
Siphon Road Structure over the Fort
Hall Main Canal project in Chubbuck,
Idaho.
This project includes construction of a
precast concrete stiff leg over the Fort
Hall Main Canal, east of the existing in-
tersection of Siphon Road and Hiline
Road in Chubbuck, Idaho. The bridge
construction will include cast -in-place
foundations, wingwalls, sidewalks, and
combination pedestrian/bicycle railings,
as well as drilling helical piers and re-
moving the existing bridge. Work in the
canal and backfilling must be complete
by March 15, 2018. Roadway work, in-
cluding curb & gutter, and paving, will
be done in a separate contract.
Solicitation packets (CD's - electronic ver-
sions) will be available starting at 8:00
a.m. local time on Wednesday, Novem-
ber 1, 2017. Electronic copy solicitation
instructions, conditions and complete
bid packets must be purchased for
$40.00 non-refundable at the City of
Chubbuck, 5160 Yellowstone Ave.,
Chubbuck, ID 83202. An electronic ver-
sion is also available through AGC,
Boise, ID.
The City of Chubbuck's Clerk's Office will
accept responses at 5160 Yellowstone
Ave, Chubbuck, ID 83202 until 11:00
A.M. local time on December 5, 2017.
Bid opening will be at the Chubbuck City
Hall, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck,
ID 83202 shortly after 11:00 A.M. local
time December 5, 2017.
Requests for information about the RFB
may be directed to the City of Chub -
buck, Alin. Rodney Burch at 208-237-
2430, no later than 5:00 pm local time
on November 17, 2017.
Disadvantaged business enterprise will
be afforded full opportunity to submit
bids in response to this invitation and
will not be discriminated against on the
grounds of race, color, religion, sexr na-
tional origin; or disability in considera-
tion for an award of any contract en-
tered into pursuant to this advertise-
ment.
Each bidder must have a Public Works
Contractors license in the State of Idaho
prior to bid opening in accordance with
Idaho Law.
The City of Chubbuck reserves the right
to reject any or all proposals, waive any

being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says:
that SHE was at all times herein mention a citizen
of the United States of America more than 21
years of age, and the Principal Clerk of the Idaho
State Journal, a daily newspaper, printed and
published at Pocatello, Bannock County Idaho and
having a general circulation therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which
is attached, was published in the said IDAHO
STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates, to -

That said paper has been continuously and
uninterruptedly published in said County for a
period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice of advertisement and is a
newspaper within the meaning of the laws of
Idaho.
