ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
PROJECT TITLE: WHITAKER ROAD
RECONSTRUCTION
Sealed BIDS for WHITAKER ROAD RE-
CONSTRUCTION located at Chubbuck,
Idaho and other related work as set forth
in the Contract documents for WHITAK-
ER ROAD RECONSTRUCTION will be
received by City of Chubbuck at 5160
Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho
83202, until 2:00 PM local time on
Wednesday June 3, 2015 and then at
said office publicly opened and read
aloud.
The work involves reconstruction of ap-
proximately 5300 LF of Whitaker Road
in the City of Chubbuck. It is the intent of
the project bidding documents to de-
scribe the work required to complete this
project in sufficient detail to secure com-
parable bids. All parts or work not
specifically mentioned which are neces-
sary in order to provide a complete in-
stallation shall be included in the bid and
shall conform to all Local, State and
Federal requirements.
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS
and EXHIBITS may be examined at the
following location(s):
City of Chubbuck, Public Works Depart-
ment, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chub -
buck, Idaho
Idaho AGC Planroom, Boise, Idaho
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS
and EXHIBITS may be obtained at City
of Chubbuck, Public Works Department,
5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Ida-
ho 83202. Copies of these documents
may be purchased for a non-refundable
fee of $30.00. Electronic Copies on a
compact disc (CD) may be purchased
for a non-refundable fee of $5.00
In determining the lowest responsive bid,
the Owner will consider all acceptable
bids on a basis consistent with the bid
package. The Owner will also consider
whether the bidder is a responsible bid-
der. Before a contract will be awarded
for work contemplated herein, the Own-
er will conduct such investigation as is
necessary to determine the pertor-
mance record and ability of the apparent
low bidder to perform the size and type
of work specified under this Contract.
Upon request, the Bidder shall submit
such information as deemed necessary!
by the Owner to evaluate the Bidder's;
qualifications.
All bids must be signed and accompanied
by evidence of authority to sign..
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Securi-
ty in the form of a bid bond, certified
check, cashier's check or cash in the
amount of five percent (5%) of the
amount of the bid proposal. Said bid se-
curity shall be forfeited to the City of
Chubbuck as liquidated damages

being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says:
that SHE was at all times herein mention a citizen
of the United States of America more than 21
years of age, and the Principal Clerk of the Idaho
State Journal, a daily newspaper, printed and
published at Pocatello, Bannock County Idaho and
having a general circulation therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which
is attached, was published in the said IDAHO
STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates, to -

That said paper has been continuously and
uninterruptedly published in said County for a
period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice of advertisement and is a
newspaper within the meaning of the laws of
