COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

AMEND COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 4, 2017 and January 18, 2017
Councilmember Lewis moved to approve the meeting minutes as presented.
Councilmember Evans seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Lewis -yes, Baumeister -yes,
Evans -yes.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Ordinance 766 Elected Officials Salaries.
It was explained that the ordinance gave the executive an increase in salary that compared
to the increase in salary the employee's received over the same 10 year period. This
ordinance does not include a salary increase for legislative offices. The increase will be
effective January 2018.
Councilmember Lewis moved to waive the rule the ordinance be read on three separate
occasions, one being in full. Councilmember Evans seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes,
Lewis -yes, Baumeister -yes, Evans -yes.
Councilmember Baumeister moved to adopt ordinance 766. Councilmember Lewis
seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Lewis -yes, Baumeister -yes, Evans -yes.
2. Ratification of the appointment of Evan Frasure to the Chubbuck Development Board.
Councilmember Ellis moved to ratify the appointment of Evan Frasure to the Chubbuck
Development Board. Councilmember Evans seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Lewis -
yes, Baumeister -yes, Evans -yes.
CLAIMS: Computer Printout claims for February 1, 2017 as presented to Mayor England and
Council.
Councilmember Evans moved to approve the claims as presented. Councilmember
Baumeister seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Lewis -yes, Baumeister -yes, Evans -yes.
