AN ORDINANCE OF THE VIL-
LAGE OF CHUBBUCK, 13ANNOCK
I COUNTY, IDAIT-0, AMENDING S'EC-
TION 12 'OF ORDINANCE NO. 18 OF

RELATING TO THE REGULATION
AND USE OF WATER FROM Tfin
VILLAGE WATERWORKS SYST
PROVIDING RATES TO I3E PA
FOR WATER CONNECTIONS MADE
HEREAFTER, DECLARING IT TO
BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY WATER
USER TO KOOK UP AND USE 'CHE
WATER FOR MORE THAN ONE
SINGLE RESIDENCE OR STRUC-
TURE TO EACH WATER CONNEC-
TION; PROVIDING THAT HERE-
AFTER ALL NEW SERVICE CON-
NECTIONS FROM THE WATER
MAIN TO A POINT ONE FOOT IN-
SIDE PRIVATL= PROPERTY LINES
SHALL BE MADE BY EMPLOYEES
OF THE VILLACE WATER SYSTEM;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIR-
MAN AND THE I3OARD OF TRUS-
TEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUB-
UCK, 13ANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. that Section 12 of Ordi-
nance Number 18 of the Village of
Chubhuck nmqreading as follows:
"Section 12. For at1 service con-
nections applied for and made
after the nater system has been
installed, the charge therefor
shall be as follows:
The charge for making the con

with the water main shall
be $25.00, payable to the Village
of Chubbuck. and in addition _
thereto, the . applicant shall bear
the entire cost and expense of in-
stallation Of service connection
and of the extension pipe and in,
j. stallation thereof from the water
main to the property Tine of the
place of use, such installation to
be made under the supervision
of, the Superintend^nt of Water
works 0.1 the said Village,"

and hereby Is amended to read
has follows:
Section -12. That hereafter all
service donmections from the
?` municipal waterworks system to
private consumers shall be made
only by the employees of the Vil-
lake of Chubbuck. That such ser-
,� vice connections shall extend
from the water main to a point
one fent inside private property
lines. That hereafter every single
residence or structure hooked up
aid using water from the munic-
ilial water system shall have its
own separate water, connection
from the water main, and itshall
be unlawful for any water user
iii the Village of Chubbuck to
connect up and use water from
the municipal waterworks sys-
tem for more than one. single
residence or structure fn each
water connection or hook up to
i the water mains. That the Village

For each a4 inch connection. $75.00.'
For each I inch connection, 4100.00.
For each 11A inch connec*ion,

$150.00
For each 2 inch connection, 4200.1111.'
That all materials and labor for
such connection will be furnished
and paid for by the Village of
Chubbuck. That the above-des-
cribed connection. charges shall
be paid in advance and in full
before any service connection
will be made.
Section 2. that all ordinances or
parts of ordinances in conflict here-:

Section 3. That this ordinance shall
be in full farce and effect from and

being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That-----She-----------------
was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of
America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at
Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,
to -wit:

That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly pub-
lished in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within
the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
