HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 24 1957 Ord. 41PROOF OF PUBLICATION Legal Advertisement ORDINANCE NO. 41 r AN ORDINANCE OF THE VIL- LAGE OF CHUSBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO ANNEXING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LANDS IN BANNOCK COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO TO -WIT: Beginning at the intersection of: the Westerly right -of way bound- ary, the Yellowstone Park Highway and the latttud al' center line of j Section 10, T. 6 S„ R. 34 E.B.M.;,I thence south 0°5' west along saidh westerly right of, way houndary 2,750 feet more or less to the north- erly city limits of the City of Poca-, tello; thence east 66 feet more orl less, thence southeasterly along the southeasterly right of way bound-, ary of the Yellowstone Park high-. way to .the intersection with the , north right of way line of Quinn Road; thence north 66 feet to the' northerly right of way boundary of the Yellowstone Park highway; i thence northwesterly along said northerly right of way boundary to the northwest coiner of the Berry- man tracts;_ thence northeasterly along the north line of the Berry- man tracts 586 feet;. thence south- easterly along the north line of the Berryman tracts 444,7 feet to the northeast corner of the Berryman tracts: thence northeasterly 80 feet,, more or less, to the southwest cur- ner of Lot 7 of the burley tracts, thence northerly along the west boundary of the Hurley tracts to: the 310rthwest corner of said Hur- ley tracts; thence west 218.9 feet, more or less, to the east boundary of the county gravel pit; thence north 33°44' west 465.6 feet; thence north 38'37' west 99.07 feet; thence south 88'44' west 384.6.1 feet, more s. or less, to the easterly night of way boundary of the Yellowstone Park Highway, thence north 0°5' E. along said Yellowstone Park High- way 627 feet, more or less, to the northerly right _ of way line of Burnside Avenue; thence east along the northerly right of way, line of Burnside Avenue 1,280 feet,' more or less, to the westerly right'! of way line of Burnside Avenue,.i thence north along said westerly, right of way lane of Burnside Ave- nue 635 feet, more or less, to the north line of the south half of the SW?4 NE14, Section 10, T. 6 S„ R. 34 E.B.M.; thence west to the west- erly right of way boundary of the Yellowstone Park Highway, thence south along said westerly right of way boundary of the Yellowstone Park Highway 660 feet, more pr less to the point of beginnixig, TO THE VILLAGE OF CHUSBUCK„ AND DECLARING SAID LANDS TO BE A PART OF SAID VILLAGE, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES, IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DE. CLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chub - buck that the foregoing described lands Iie adjacent and contiguous to the Village of Chubbuck and is a_I tract of land of less than five acres, and has been by the owners sold and offered for sale in tracts or parcels in less than five acre tracts, all being included within the property herein- above and hereinafter. particularly described, and VHEREAS, the owners. of said lands have heretofore petitioned 'and requested the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck to annex said property to and incorporate the, same within the limits of the Village i of Chubbuck, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck do at this - time, deem it advisable and for the best interests of the inhabitants .of the said Village of Chubbuck to' fin- nex said adjacent and contiguous lands, referred to, and herein de- scribed, to the Village of Chubbuck and declare the same to be a part of the Village of Chubbuck; Bannock County, Idaho.
