NANCE NO. 1 OF THE VILLAGE
OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUN-
TY, STATE -OF IDAHO, RELATING
TO THE LICENSING OF COIN-
OPERATED AMUSEMENT DEVI-
CES; AMENDING SECTION 3 OF
SAID ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE
FOR INCREASING THE LICENSE
FEES FOR THE LICENSING OF
COIN - OPERATED AMUSEMENT
DEVICES; REPEALING SECTION 3
OF SAID ORDINANCE AS IT NOW
STANDS, AND INSERTING IN
SAID ORDINANCE AND ENACT-
ING IN LIEUOF SECTION 3 AS IT
NOW READS, A. NEW SECTION 3
OF SAID ORDINANCE; REPEAL-
ING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES INSOFAR
AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH
THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVID-
ING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIR-
MAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, BAN -
NOCK COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance
No. 1 of the Village of Chubbuck be,
and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. There is hereby enacted
a new Section 3 of the Ordinance No.
I of the Village of Chubbuck, to be
inserted in place of the farmer Sec-
tion 3 repealed herein, and which is
to read as follows:
"SECTION 3. The license fee re-
quired for the obtaining of the license
stamp for the operation of said coin-
operated devices shall be the sum of
$656.00 for each calendar year, which
license fee shall be pro -rated as begin-
ning with the actual month of issue
for the remainder of the calendar year,
and commencing 'June 1st, 1950, and
the license fee shall include the. li-
cenSie for the month in which the
same is issued, providing, however, the
entire amount of the license required
for the State of Idaho and for Ban-
nock County shall be collected at the
time of the issuance of the License, and
that portion of the license fee for the
Village of Chubbuck shall be collect-
ed quarterly on January 1, April 1,
July 1, and October 1 of each year.
Provided that in the year 1950, a spe-
cial license fee of $12,10 per machine
shall be paid for the month of June,
and thereafter such licenses shall be
payable quarterly in advance com-
mencing July Ist, 1950, Of the -license
fee so collected on each of such de-
vices licensed, $125.00 thereof or the
pro -rata portion thereof, if issued for
less than a full calendar ,year, shall be
collected for the State of Idaho, and
$125 -Oa thereof, or the pro -rata portion
thereof, if issued for less than a full
calendar year, shall be collected for
Bannock County; and the balance of
said license fee, as collected quarterly,
shall be deposited in the general fund
of the Village.
Provided further that the moneys so
collected by the Village for the State
of Idaho and the County of Bannock
I
shall be deposited in and kept in a
special trust fiord and remitted to the
State of Idaho and the County of Ban-
nock quarterly on April Ist, July 1st,
October Ist and January Ist of each
year.
Provided further that no such mach-
ine or device shall be licensed if the
I same shall be in denominations of, 50c
i or $1.00 per play, and such devices in
such denominations are hereby ex-
pressly prohibited.
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or
parts of Ordinances insofar as they
i are in conflict herewith, be, and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage and approval
and publication as required by law.

Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,
