Home My WebLink About02 24 1972 ElectionLegal Notice Legal ,Notice Legal Notice CITY OF CHUBBUCK,IDAHO NOTICE OF SPECIAL MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION March 7, 1972 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HERE- BY GIVEN that a special mun- icipal bond election will be held in the City of Chubbuck, Ban- nock County, Idaho, on Tues- day the 7th day of March, 1972, for the purpose of voting on the following question: SEWER REVENUE B 0 N D QUESTION SUBMITTED: Shall the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, issue and sell its sewer revenue bands in the aggre- gate principal amount of $1,000,000.00, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of providing funds with which to construct and acquire a sewerage sys- tem, said bonds to mature serially commencing 1 year and ending 40 years from January 1 following delivery and to Bear interest at a rate or rates not to exceed 606 per annum, as more fully provid- ed in Ordinance No.104, sign ed and approved the 12th day of February, 1972, the prin- cipal of and the interest on said bonds to be payable sole - 1'y from the net revenues to be derived from the operation of the municipal sewerage sys- tem? At such election only register- ed qualified electors of the City will be permitted to vote on the question submitted. A qualified elector shall be eighteen years of age or older on the date of the election, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the State of Idaho for the six months, and of the City of Chubbuck and County. of Bannock for the three months, immediately preceding said election. The place of registration is the office of the City Clerk at 5160 Yellowstone Chubbuck, Idaho. Except as provided by Sectiori 500-412, Idaho Code, it shall be necessary to icegister.in order to vote at such bond elections. When once so registered for a general city election, tbereafter an elector shall not be required to again register for the special pond election so long as he shall have continued to reside at the same address, or within the same precinct in which he is registered except as hereinafter provided. If such elector shall have moved to another precinct within the City, he shall notify said Clerk of such change of ad- dress, and such Clerk shall thereupon strike the name of such elector from the electors' list in which he is registered and shall register him in such electors' register at the new ad- dress in the precinct to whWi the elector shall have moved. If an elector shall have failed or neglected to vote at any general blennial election, the Clerk shall strike the name of such elector, from the elector's register and such eIector in or- der to vote at the special bond election, must again reb inter. Persons who are not cur- 1•ently registered may register on each day at any time during the office hours of said Clerk until and including the Saturday next preceding the election and on Thursday, Friday and Sat- brday next preceding the elec- tion persons may register be iween the hours of 9:00 o'clock a.m. and 5:00 o'clock p.m. and between the hours of 7:00 o'clock p,m. and 9:00 o'clock p.m. The voting at said election shall be by ballot.
