ORDINANCE NO. 87
AN ORDINANCE EXCLUDING
FROM THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
BANNOCKCOUNTY
FAIRGROUNDS
WHEREAS, the BannockCoun.
ty Fairgrounds were originally
annexed to the City of Chubbuck
because of its isolated location
and need for water, and
WHEREAS, currently thearea
adjacent to said fairgrounds has
been improved and built up and
said fairgrounds now secures
water and other services from
the City of Pocatello; and
WHEREAS, it would therefore
be in the best interests of the
County for said fairgrounds to
be excluded from the municipal
boundaries of the City of Chub -
buck; and
WHEREAS, disannexation will
not change or alter any respon-
sibility to pay taxes, such prop-
erty being tax exempt;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, a municipal cor-
poration of the State of Idaho,
that the Bannock County Fair-
grounds be excluded from and
no longer a part of the juris.
dictional limits or within the
boundaries of the City of Chub.
buck.
An emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance
shall take effect immediately
upon passage, approval and pub-
lication of said ordinance.

Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.

published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL., on the following dates,
