NOTICE OF CITE" ELECTION
AND REGISTRATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
That on Tuesday, the 6th day
of November, 1973, the general
city election of the city of Chub -
buck, will be held for the elec-
tion of mayor and two council-
men to serve for a term of four
years.
HOURS OF VOTING. Thepolls
£orsaid general city election
shall open at 12;00 noon, and will
remain open for votinguntil8;00
p.m., Mountain Standard Time,
on said date of election.
POLLING PLACES. For elec-
tors residing in Chubbuck Pre-
cint the polling place will be
Chubbuck Elementary School,
5045 Hawthorne Road, Chubbuck,
Idaho,
QUALIFICATIONS OF ELEC-
TORS. Every male or female
citizen of the United States, j
eighteen (18) years old, who has
actually established a bona fide
residence in the city where he
or she offers to vote prior to
the day of election, if registered 1
within the time period provided
by late, is qualified elector.

REGISTRATION. Registration
of electors shall begin on the
22nd day of September, 1973, at
9;00 a.m., and shall close onthe
3rd day of November, 1973 at
9,00 p, m. Mountain Standard
Time.
An elector for said general
city election shall not be re-
quired to again register if he
or she voted at the general city
election of the city of Chubbuck,
Idaho, in the year 1971; so long
as he or she shalt continue to
reside at the address inthepre-
cinct at which he or she resid-
ed in 1971. If a registered elec-
tor shall have failed or neglect-
ed to vote at the 1971 city elec-
tion in the city of Chubbuck, the
name of such elector will have
been stricken by the City Clerk
from the electors' register, and
such elector in order to vote at
the general city .election to be
held on the 6th dayofNovember,
1973 must again register,
A. Residence for voting pur
pose shall be the place in which'
a qualified elector has fixed his
habitation and, to which, when -i
ever he is absent he has the in-
tention of returing.
S. A qualified elector who has
left his home and gone into
another state or territory or
county of this state for a tem-
porary purpose only, shall not
be considered to have lost his
residence.
C, A qualified elector shall
not be considered to have gain-
ed a residence in any county
or city of this state into which
he comes for temporary pur-
poses only, without the inten-
tion of making it his home but
with the intention of leaving it
when he has accomplished the
pupose that brought him there.
D. If a qualified elector moves
to another state, or to any of the
other territories, with the in-
tention of making it his pern.-
anent home, he shall be con-
sidered to have lost his resi-
dence in this state.

being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That -------she-
was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of
America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at
Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,

That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly pub-
lished in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within
the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
