HomeMy WebLinkAbout03 29 1973 Ord. 120Legal Notice ORDINANCE NO. 120 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUN TY, IDAHO APPROPRIATING THE SEVERAL SUMS OF MONEI DEEMED NECESSARY AND SUFFICIENT TO DEFRAY ALL EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON THE 1st DAY OF JANUARY, 1973, AND ENDING ON THE 31st DAY OF DECEMBER, 1973 AND DESIGNATING THE DIFFERENT FUNDS TO WHICH THE REVENUES RECEIVED DURING SAID FISCAL YEAR SHALL BE CREDITED AND FROM WHICH EXPENSES SHALL BE DRAWN AND PAID, AND KNOWN AS THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF 1973"; PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO TAKE EFFECT AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLI- CATION ACCORDING TO LAW. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, A MUNICIPAL CORP- ORATION OF IDAHO, AS FOLOWS: Section 1. That the following funds are hereby designated as the proper funds into which all revenues accruing to the City of Chubbuck from all sources shall be paid during the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January, 1973 and ending on the 31st day of Decem- ber, 1973: GENERAL FUND --- WATERWORKS REVENUE FUND -- SEWER REVENUE FUND Section 2: That the following sums ofmoneyare hereby appropri- ated from the General Fund for thepaymentof all general expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year: 410..General Government. ............. $ 62,650.00 422 -Law Enforcement & Protection.. ........ 47,850.04 423 -Fire Control & Prevention..... .. ... 12,848.25 43I -Transportation -Highway, Street & Roads.... 72,345.58 438 -Physical Environment -Parks...... , , , , , , 11 950.00 490 -Other Governmental Purposes.. . , ....... 30,042.54 Total General Fund............ 237,686.37 Section 3: That the following summs of money are hereby ap. nropriated from th Section 3: That the following sums of money are hereby ap- propriated from the Waterworks Fund for the payment of all water- works expenses and garbage sanitation expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year: 434 -Waterworks -Salaries and Maintenance...... 110,395.88 433 -Garbage Sanitation -Salaries & Maintenance... 37,650.78 Total Waterworks Fund.......... 148,046.66 Section 4: That the following sums ofmoney are hereby appropri- ated from the Sewer Revenue Fund for the payment of all sewer expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year, 4.35 -Sewage_............ ............. 2,275,260.00 TOTAL OF ALL FUNDS......... 2,660,993.03 Section 5. For the purpose of the payment of the interest ac- cruing and payment of the principal falling due on the General Obligation Waterworks Bonds of 1957, during the aforesaid fiscal year, there is hereby appropriated from said funds to be used for the following purposes: Payment of Interest on said Bonds........... 112.5G Payment of Principal of said Bonds.......... 2,500.00 Section 6: That all Ordinances, Resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith, are expressly repealed, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be infull force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. The Council of the City of Chubbuck, as provided by law, one-half (1/2) plus one (1) of the members of the full council, dispense with the rule that said ordinance be fully and distinctly read upon three (3) different days.
