ADVERTISEMENT FORBIDS
Sealed proposals for the con•
struciion of a new well pumping
facility, addressed to the Mayor
and City Council, Chubbuck,Ida-
ho, will be received at the of-
fice of the City Clerk, City Rall,
Chubbuck, Idaho, until 8:00 o'-
clock p.m., Mountain Standard
Time, on the 12th day of Fob,
ruary, 1974, and then will be
publicly opened and read.
Mainr Items:
1. New well pump, column,
motor and starter.
2. Pump control valve,
pressure sensing unit
and related electrical
controls.
A set of Contract Documents
and Specifications maybe obtain-
ed at the office of the City Clerk,
5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chub -
buck, Idaho, after January 14th,
1974, upon payment of twenty dol-
lars ($20.00), all of which will be
refunded provided the Bidder
submits a bona lied bid and re-
turns the Contract Documents
and Specifications in good con-
dition within ten (10) days after
the bids are opened Issuance of
more than one set of Contract
Documents and Specifications to
the same bidder will require a
deposit of ten dollars (10.00)
per each additional set. No re-
fund will be made tocontractors
not submitting a bid. Checks for
Plans and Contract Documents
shall be made payable to Fors-
gren, Perkins & Associates, P.
A., Consulting Civil Engineers.
Wages to be paid must not be
less than the schedule of wages
per hour for each type of craft
prevailing in this locality.
Each proposal must be submit.
ted on the prescribed form and
accompanied by a certified
check cashier's check, bid bond
or a craft on a state or national
bank, filed within the State of
Idaho, and made payable without
condition to the City of Chubbuck,
in an amount of not less than
five per cent (5%) of his pro-
posal as a guarantee that such
bidder will enter into a contract
and furnish a erformance bond
within ten (10) days after being
notified of being awarded the
contract.
The bids will be accepted or
rejected and the certified checks
or other guarantees will be re-
turned within thirty (30) days
after the opening of the bids.
The City of Chubbuck reserves
the right to accept or reject any
or all bids, or any part of any
bid; to waive any informality in
any bid as the best interests of
the City may appear.
Any bid may be withdrawn by
telegraphic communication or
by written request delivered in
person prior to the time of open-
ing of bids as specified herein,
but no bid shall be changed or
altered by telegraphic or tele•
phone communication. The suc.
cessful bidder will be required
to furnish a Performance and
Payment Bond, and a Contract
and Maintenance Bond, each in
the amount of one hundred per
cent (100'i,) of the contract price.
