County of Bannock ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed bids will be re- ceived by the city of Chubbuck, Idaho, office located at 5160 Yel- lowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Ida- ho (83201), until 5:00 P.M. Local Time, on the 27th day of Octo- ber, 1977, for furnishing all labor and materials required to con- struct a water line, a sewer line, and street improvements for West Burnside Avenue, L.I.D. No. 1, Chubbuck, Idaho, at which time said proposals will be opened and read aloud. Total project length is approximately 1280 feet. The work contemplated under this contract includes installing approximately 1100 feet of water line with valves, service connec- tions and fire hydrants, approxi- mately 660 feet of sewer line with manholes and service con- nections, and street construction. West Burnside Avenue is located immediately west of Yellowstone Highway and approximately 600 feet north of the 1-15 W. Chub - buck Interchange in the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidders security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of his total bid. This securi- ty may be in the form of a certi- fied check, cashiers check or bid bond executed by a qualified sur- ety company and made payable without conditions to the .- City of Chubbuck, Idaho. In case a con- tract for work is awarded to a bidder, and he falls or refuses to enter into the contract promptly upon receiving notice to proceed, his security of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be forfeited to the City and placed in the local improvement fund of the West Burnside Avenue, L.I,D. No. 1. Due to seasonal conditions, the City intends to give notice to pro- ceed promptly following award of the contract. Plans and Contract Documents LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT may be inspected at the office of Forsgren, Perkins and Associates, 755 N. Main, Suite 4, Pocatello, Idaho, after October 12, 1977, or obtained from same upon pay- ment of twenty dollars ($20.00) which will be refunded provided the bidders submits a bonafide bid and returns the Plans and Contract Documents in good con- dition within ten (t0) days after the bids are opened.
