ORDINANCE NO. 204
AN ORDINANCEOF THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, DE-
CLARING THAT THE "IDAHO
STATE JOURNAL, " PUB-
LISHED IN POCATELLO, BAN.
NOCK COUNTY, IDAHO, AP-
PARENTLY QUALIFIES AS A
NEWSPAPER WITHIN THE
PROVISIONS OF TITLE 60 IDA-
HO CODE, AND is A NEWSPA-
PER PUBLISHED WITHIN THE
COUNTY IN WHICH THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK IS SITUATED,
THERE BEING NO SUCH
NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED
WITHIN THE CITY ITSELF;
DESIGNATING THE "IDAHO
STATE JOURNAL" AS THE OF-
FICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, PUR-
SUANT TO IDAHO CODE SEC-
TION 50.213; RATIFYING PRIOR
PUBLICATION OF ALL PRE-
VIOUS ORDINANCES, RESOLU-
TIONS AND LEGAL NOTICES
OF ANY TYPE OR DESCRIP-
TON IN THE "IDAHO STATE
JOURNAL; " AND PROVIDING
WHEN THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Declaration. It ap-
pears and therefore is declared
that the "Idaho State Journal:, a
daily newspaper published at Po-
catello, Bannock County, Idaho,
conforms to the qualifications of
Title 60, fdaho Code, and is a
newspaper published within the
county in which the City of Chub -
buck is situated, no such newspa-
per being published within the
City itself.
SECTION 2: Designation as Ofti-
cial Newpspaper. The "Idaho
State Journal," a daily newspa-
per published at Pocatello, Ban-
nock County, Idaho, is hereby
designated as the official newspa-
per of the City of Chubbuck, Ida-
ho, pursuant to Idaho Code, Sec-
tion 50-213.
SECTION 3: Ratification. The
prior publication of ordinances,
resolutions or other legal notices
Of any type whatsoever in the
"Idaho Sttae Journal" is hereby
ratified.
SECTION a: Effective Date. The
rule requiring ordinances to be
read on three (3) separate Occa-
sions is hereby dispensed with,
and this ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage, ap-
proval and publication as provi-
died by law. .
