County of Bannock ORDIANCE NO. 203 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, ESTAB- LISHING THE TIME AND PLACE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS; AUTHOR- IZING SPECIAL MEETINGS; REQUIRING PREPARATION OF MEETING AGENDA; DESCRIB- ING DUTIES OF THE PRESID- ING OFFICERS; AND PROVID- ING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1: Regular Meetings, The Chubbuck City Council shall hold regular meetings on every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at B o'clock P.M. The City Council may, by unanimous vote at the first meeting of the Montt), dispense with the second meeting of that month it it ap- pears to be unnecessary. If a day fixed for any regular meet- ing falls upon a day designated by law as a legal or national hol- iday, the meeting scheduled for such day shall be held on a date to be specified by unanimous vote of the City Council in the next preceding regular meeting. SECTION 2: Special Meetings. Upon call by the mayor or one. half (1f2) plus one (1) of the members of the City Council, the City Clerk shall give written no- tice to the Mayor and full Coun. cil of a special meeting, Specify- ing the date, time, place and ob- ject thereof. Members of the City Council may waive prior written notice of a special meeting in writing, and a member's partici- pation in such meeting shall con. stitute a waiver of prior notice. SECTION 3: Adjournment. At any time during a meeting, the City Council may vote to ad- journ. The motion for adjourn. ment may specify a date, time and place to re -convene the meeting. if the motion does not so specify, the meeting shall be deemed adjourned until the date, time and place of the next regu- lar meeVng of the City Council as provided herein. If a meeting is adjourned to a date, time and place other than those of the next regular meeting, the agenda Upon reconvening shall be the same as that of the original meeting, and new items may not be considered except upon call for a special meeting as provided herein. SECTION 4: Agenda. The City Clerk shall prepare an agenda for each regular or special meet- ing of the Council. The agenda shall always include a call of the roll, review of minutes of the Council's previous meeting, unfin- ished business, new business, and adjournment. The agenda shall be distributed to all City Council members, municipal staff attend- ing the Councsl meeting, and to the general public. Items listed on the agenda may be taken up during the meeting in whatever order the Council deems expedi- ent. SECTION 5: Presiding Officer. The presiding offirr during coun- cil meetings shall) be the Mayor.
