HomeMy WebLinkAbout04 20 1984 Ord. 247PROOF OF PUBLICA) ION STATE OF IDAHO ss County of Bannock CITY OF CHUSBUCK ORDINANCE NO. 247 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUSBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING, FOR THE CHANGING OF THE NAME OF A PORTION OF STUART AVENUE TO JAMES STREET; PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGING OF THE NAME OF LEAH STREET TO JOEL STREET; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDI- NANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC- TIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,IDAHO: SECTION 1. Change of Name of Por- tions of Stuart Avenue to James Avenue. Pursuant to the authority vested in the city by the provisions of Idaho Code Section 50-318, the name of that portion of Stuart Avenue extending west from and including 5210 Stuart Avenue to' Hawthorne Road is hereby changed to James Avenue. SECTION 2. Change of Name of Leah Street to Joel Street. Pursuant to the authority vested in the city by the provisions of Idaho Code Section 50-318, the name of Leah Street is hereby changed to Joel Street. SECTION 3. Effective Date. The rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate days is hereby dispensed with and this Ordinance shall become effec- tive upon its passage, approval and publication provided by law.
