County of Bannock ORDINANCE NO. 353 _ — CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUSBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING SEC- TION 16.12,030 OF THE CHUBBUCK MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF LOT WIDTH ON CURVED LOTS; REPEALING PRIOR FLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVINNGNFOR THE SEVERABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDI- NANCE; PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER SECTIONS AND PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 16.12 NOT HEREIN AMENDED SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; AND PROVID- ING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBSUCK, IDAHO: Section I. Section 16.12.030 of the Chubbuck Municipal code shall be amended to read as follows: 30 Blocks and . A, lengths shall not exceed fifteen hu di ock ed feet nor shall they be less than four hundred feet; except when the average lot size is one-half acre or more, in which case the maximum block length may be extended to a dimension rea- sonably determined by the city engi- neer. In addition to pedestrian walks provided elsewhere in this chapter, dedicated pedestrian ways with right-of-way width of eight feet or greater may be required where essential, as determined by the city en- gineer, for circulation or access to schools, playgrounds, shopping centers, transportation and other community fa- cilities. Lot widths shall conform to require- ments imposed by the city's land use ordinance, as now in effect and as it may hereafter be amended; but in no event shall such widths be less than thirty feet at the street right-of-way line. Yard widths for lots located on cul-de- sacs or on curved sections of roadway may be measured at the front yard set- back fine. P.
