HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 17 1993 BidsADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Chubbuck, Idaho Sealed bids for Police vehicles will be received by the City of Chubbuck, at the office of the City Clerk, PO Box 5604 or 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202, until 2:00 P.M., Monday October 25, 1993, at which time the bids duly submitted will be opened and read. A complete list of materials and specifications for which the bids are solicited is available at the office of the City Clerk, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho. All bids must be delivered under sealed cover, and must contain one of the following forms of bidders security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid; cash, cashiers check payable to the city, certified check payable to the city, or bidder's bond executed by a qualified surety company payable to the city. The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the lowest responsible bid, or any item of any such bid, deemed most advantageous to the city. C I T Y O F C H U B B U C K POLICE PATROL VEHICLES BIDDING CONDITIONS September 13, 1993 The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to accept any part of any bid deemed most advantageous to the city. The bid price shall include three (3) vehicles with accessories specified and delivered,FOB to the City of Chubbuck. Vehicles and accessories shall be manufactured in accordance with the latest editions of applicable codes and regulations. 4. All bids must include with the bid documents, sufficient technical information to verify whether or not the vehicles bid meet all required specifications. 5. Vehicles shall be supplied with standard new car warranties. 6. Bids must be submitted in the following formats or alternatives: a. Cash b. Lease, with the following criteria: 1. Term of lease: 2 years. 2. The lease agreement must conform to requirements of the Idaho Code and give to the city the option to terminate at the end of each year. Such compliance shall be judged by the Chubbuck City Attorney. 3. The lease agreement must provide the option for the city to purchase title to the vehicles at the end of each year of the lease. These cash purchase prices shall be firm bids and disclosed in this bid offering. 7. All lease bids will be evaluated and compared on the basis of total lease payments and purchase price (when applicable). 8. Two of the vehicles will be midsize and one of the vehicles will be full size. All three must meet the minimum specifications listed. 1. Vehicles supplied shall be of standard manufacture with all standard equipment or accessories, except where optional equipment or accessories replace those standard and for high altitude principal use. 2.
