Sealed bids for approx-
imately 50,000 square
yards of seal coat will be
received by the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho, at the
office of the City Clerk,
5160 Yellowstone Ave-
nue, Chubbuck, Idaho,
until 2:00 pm, Tuesday,
June 24, 1997, at which
time the bids duly sub-
mitted will be opened
and read. A complete
list of materials and
specifications for which
the bids are solicited is
available at the office of
the City Engineer, 5160
Yellowstone Avenue,
Chubbuck, Idaho. All
bids must be delivered
under sealed cover, and
must contain one of the
following forms of bid-
ders security in the
amount of five percent
(5%) of the amount bid;
cash, cashiers check
payable to the city, cer-
tified check payable to
the city, or bidder's
bond executed by a
qualified surety compa-
ny payable to the city.
The city reserves the
right to reject any and
all bids, or to accept the
lowest responsible bid,
or any item of any such
bid, deemed most ad-
vantageous to the city.
Bidders are hereby noti-
fied that acceptance of
this contract by the suc-
cessful bidder consti-
tutes certification that
the bidder is or will be in
full compliance with ap-
plicable Federal and/or
State law.
