CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
IDAHO, ADDING
CHAPTER 10.28, "BI-
CYCLES," TO PRO-
VIDE FOR THE VOL-
UNTARY REGISTRA-
TION OF BICYCLES,
REPEALING PRIOR
CONFLICTING ORDI-
NANCES; PROVIDING
FOR THE SEVERABILI-
TY OF THE PROVI-
SIONS OF THIS ORDI-
NANCE; AND PROVID-
ING WHEN THIS ORDI-
NANCE SHALL BE-
COME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK, IDA-
HO.
Section i. Intent. The
purpose for adopting
this section is:
A. To reduce the occur-
rence of bicycle theft
and subsequent loss of
property to bicycle own-
ers ,n the City of Chub -
buck.
B. To facilitate prosecu-
tion of thefts by estab-
lishing a city ordinance
that allows bicycles
owned by residents of
the City of Chubbuck to
be registered through
the Police Department.
C. To provide a support
program to facilitate the
registration of bicycles,
keeping of registration
records, and
D. To provide an under-
standing and willing
compliance by the resi-
dents of the city through
positive public relations.
