Sealed bids for water and
sewer improvements will
be received by the city
of Chubbuck, Idaho, at
the office of the City
Clerk, 5160 Yellowstone
Avenue, Chubbuck,
Idaho, until 2:00 P.M.,
Tuesday June 29,
1999, at which time the
bids duly submitted will
be opened and read.
Improvements consist
of the installation of ap-
proximately 1340 lineal
meters of 150mm(6
inch), 200mm(8 Inch),
300mm(12 inch), and
400mm(16 inch) PVCO
and Ductile Iron Water
Main, 100 lineal meters
of 200mm(8 inch) PVC
Sewer Main, 1 Sewer
Manhole, 8 Fire Hy-
drants, relocation or re-
moval of approximately
40 Water Service Met-
ers, and replacement of
approximately 15 Water
Service Lines. A com-
plete list of materials
and specifications for
which the bids are solici-
ted is available at the
office of the City En-
gineer, 5160 Yellow-
stone Avenue, Chub -
buck, Idaho. All bids
must be delivered un-
der sealed cover, and
must contain one of the
following forms of bid-
ders security in the
amount of five percent
(5%) of the amount bid;
cash, cashiers check
payable to the city, cer-
tified check payable to
the city, or bidder's
bond executed by a
qualified surety compa-
ny payable to the city.
The city reserves the
right to reject any and
all bids, or to accept the
lowest responsible bid,
or any item of any such
bid, deemed most ad-
vantageous to the city.
Bidders are hereby noti-
fied that acceptance of
this contract by the suc-
cessful bidder consti-
tutes certification that
the bidder is or will be in
full compliance with ap-
plicable Federal and/or
State Idy�_.
