A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO,
ADOPTING THE 2009 EDITION OF CERTAIN CODES
WHEREAS, Chapter 15.04 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code allows future editions of
certain International Codes to be adopted by resolution of the City Council;
WHEREAS, the City Building Official has recommended adoption by the City of the
2009 Editions of the following Codes pursuant to the adoption of these Codes by the Idaho
Building Code Board of the Division of Building Safety:
International Building Code with certain exceptions and modifications;
International Residential Code;
International Existing Building Code; and
International Energy Conservation Code, with certain amendments;
WHEREAS, the State of Idaho has adopted said Codes with certain exceptions,
modifications and amendments as noted and codified in the Idaho Administrative Procedures Act
at Section 07.03.04.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Chubbuck that the
2009 Editions of the International Building Code with the exceptions and modifications adopted
by the State of Idaho, the International Residential Code, the International Existing Building
Code, and the International Energy Conservation Code, with certain amendments as adopted by
the State of Idaho are hereby adopted by the City of Chubbuck effective January 1, 2011.
