HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980 Chubbuck Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Assistance Program PUBLIC NOTICE CHUBBUCK CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The Mayor and Council of the City of Chubbuck are pleased to announce a program to help Chubbuck residents install curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements on their properties. Upon request, and at no charge to the property owner, the City will establish grade for curb, gutter and sidewalk ; or the curb and gutter, the City will also "rough cut" the subgrade and haul excess dirt. As further assistance to the property owner, the City will provide forms to be used for a period of time determined by the City Engineer. The City will collect a security deposit of $3.00 per linear foot, but the deposit will be refunded to the property owner if the forms are returned to the City on time and in good condition. The Mayor and Council encourage all Chubbuck residents who do not now have curb, gutter and sidewalk to take advantage of this program. The program is subject to modification by the City, and will remain in effect so long as the Mayor and Council determine to be in the interest of the City. r v°v6 Date ohn O. Cotant, Jr. Mayor • I 1 1 AGREEMENT FOR USE OF FORMS CHUBBUCK CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK ASSISTANCE PROGRAM This agreement is made between the City of Chubbuck, Idaho ("City") and ("borrower") . The City agrees to lend the following items of municipal property to the Borrower under the Chubbuck curb, gutter and sidewalk assistance program: These items may be used by the borrower until the following date, at which time they must be returned in good condition to the City: . Borrower hereby acknowledges that the items are in good condition when taken from the City. Borrower has tendered a deposit of $ as security for these items. The deposit will be refunded when the items have been returned to the City on time and in good condition. Borrower 'hereby oonvenants that these items will be used only for curb, gutter, and sidewalk on property which the borrower owns or occupies and will not be used in any business for profit. Borrower further covenants that all work using these items will be performed in compliance with applicable laws and ordinances, and that Borrower will indemnify the City and hold it harmless from any claims of liability, loss. injury or damage arising from the use of the items.
