A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
IDAHO, EXPANDING THE CHUBBUCK URBAN RENEWAL AREA;
DETERMINING THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN SAID EXPANDED AREA
TO BE A DETERIORATED, OR DETERIORATING, AREA OR A
COMBINATION THEREOF; AND DESIGNATING SUCH AREA AS
APPROPRIATE FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECTS UNDER THE URBAN
RENEWAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Chubbuck City Council (the "Council") has previously established the
Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the area described below, which includes
the Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area, and additional land described in Exhibit A attached hereto,
is a deteriorating and/or deteriorated area under Section 50-2008, Idaho Code which has a
predominance of faulty accessibility or usefulness, diversity of ownership, obsolete or
inadequate platting, or a combination of such factors, resulting in economic under -development
of the area which substantially impairs or arrests the sound growth of the City of Chubbuck (the
"City"); and
WHEREAS, the Council, upon the recommendation of the Chubbuck Development
Authority, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, desires to expand the
Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area by the addition of the area set forth on Exhibit A, Page 1, and an
additional area North of Stuart Avenue to Siphon Road, bounded on the West by Hawthorne
Road and on the East by Yellowstone Avenue, all of which is included in the amended legal
description for the entire Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area described on the attached Exhibit A,
Pages 2, 3 and 4, and included on the map as Exhibit A, Page 5, attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area, and additional land included on the
map and description, which is attached hereto and, incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit
A, is now designated as the Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area and the Council hereby finds and
determines that expanded Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area, including the property referenced on
Exhibit A, meets the deteriorating area requirements of Section 50-2008, Idaho Code, as
amended.
Section 2: That the expanded Chubbuck Urban Renewal Area, as shown on the map,
which is attached hereto and incorporated hereby by reference as Exhibit A, is designated as
appropriate for urban renewal projects under the urban renewal plan for the Chubbuck Urban
Renewal Area.
