Box 5604), Chubbuck, Idaho 83202, until 2.00 p.m. local time on Monday, April 20, 2015 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally consists of cured -in- place pipe rehabilitation of approximate - y 4,600 linear feet of 12 -inch and 15 - inch sanitary sewers, including cleaning,' CCTVinspection, and reinstating later- als, and related items of work, Bids will be opened at the Council Cham- bers at City Hall on April 20, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. on said date. Bids from Contractors that were not previ- ously pre -qualified will not be consid- ered, will not be opened, and will be returned to the bidder. The Contract Documents may be exam- ined at the following locations: • Public Works Department, City of Chub - buck, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., Chub - buck, Idaho 83202 • J -U -B ENGINEERS, Inc., 275 South 5th Ave„ Suite 220, Pocatello, Idaho 83201 Electronic copies of the Bidding Docu- ments may be downloaded by contact- ing J -U -B ENGINEERS, Inc., by tele- phone at 208-232-1313. A paper copy of the Bidding Documents may be pur- chased for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 at the J -U -B ENGINEERS, Inc. office located at the address ` listed above. The standard set of Bidding Doc- uments includes electronic PDF files of the bid forms, technical specifications, rehabilitation schedules, and project vicinity -map. A Pre -Bid Conference will not be held. All bids shall bepresented or otherwise delivered to the Public Works Director in a sealed envelope with a concise state- ment marked on the outside identifying the project to which the bid pertains. All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to five (5%)ercent of the amount bid: a) Cash, b) Cashiers Check made payable to the City, c) Certified Check made payable to the City, or d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, made payable to the City. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the In- structions to Bidders Davis -Bacon Wage Rates will not be ap- plicable to this project. The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids re- ceived, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Chubbuck.
