July 6, 1995
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Land Use and Development Commission
held in the city municipal building July 6, 1995.
Present: Chairman Kent Kearns, Council representative Dean Wood, Commission
members: Pete Anderson, Richard Pearson, Mary Harker, City staff: Larry
Kohntopp, Steve Smart and secretary Myrna Crapo.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Kent Kearns at 8:00 pm. Chairman Kearns
asked for approval of the minutes of the June 1, 1995 meeting. Richard moved
and Pete seconded. All members voted for approval of the minutes.
PUBLIC HEARING:
1. An proposal by the City of Chubbuck amending section 16.12.220 to provide
for the use of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water pipe; and amending section
16.16.030 to provide for dust control from construction sites.
Chairman Kearns asked if any members had a Conflict of interest, there was
none. Chairman Kearns then asked for any public testimony in support of or
opposition to. Chairman Kearns then turned the meeting to the Commission for
"011N discussion and a motion.
Pete Anderson move that the we recommend to the city council to adopt
16.12.200 for use of PVC for water pipe and 16.12.220 16.16.030 to provide dust
control. Mary Harker seconded. All voted in favor. Motion passed.
Mary moved to adjourn at 8:10 pm.
