ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
PROJECT TITLE: 1-86 WATER LINE
CROSSING AND YELLOWSTONE
COMMONS PHASE 2 IRRIGATION
PIPELINE MATERIALS
Separate sealed BIDS for water pipeline
materials, including fittings and appurte-
nances as set forth in the Contract doc-
uments for 1-86 Waterline Crossing and
Yellowstone Commons Phase 2 Irriga-
tion projects will be received by The City
of Chubbuck at 5160 Yellowstone Ave,
P.O. Box 5604, Chubbuck, Idaho, until
2:00 PM local time on Wednesday,
September 12, 2012 and then at said of-
fice publicly opened and read aloud.
The work involves supplying and deliver-
ing to the City of Chubbuck various
sizes and quantities of pipe line materi-
als and related fittings and appurte-
nances. It is the intent of these docu-
ments to describe the work required to
complete this project in sufficient detail
to secure comparable bids. All parts or
work not specifically mentioned which
are necessary in order to provide a
complete installation shall be included in
the bid and shall conform to all Local,
State and Federal requirements.
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS
and EXHIBITS may be examined at the
following locations:
1. The Public Works office at the City of
Chubbuck, 5160 Yellowstone Ave.
2. Builders Exchange, 120 N. 12th Ave.,
Pocatello, ID
3. AGC Plan Center, 984 John Adams
Pkwy, Idaho Falls, ID
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS
and EXHIBITS may be obtained at The
Public Works office at the City of Chub -
buck, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck,
Idaho. Copies of these documents may
be purchased for a NON-REFUNDABLE
fee of $-0-.
In determining the lowest responsive bid,
the Owner will consider all acceptable
bids on a basis consistent with the bid
package. The Owner will also consider
whether the bidder is a responsible bid-
der.
Before a contract will be awarded for work
contemplated herein, the Owner will
conduct such investigation as is neces-
sary to determine the performance
record and ability of the apparent low
bidder to perform the size and type of
work specified under this Contract.
Upon request, the Bidder shall submit
such information as deemed necessary
by the Owner to evaluate the Bidderigs
qualifications.
All bids must be signed and accompanied
by evidence of authority to sign..
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Securi-
ty in the form of a bid bond, certified
check, cashiers check or cash in the
amount of five percent (5%) of the
amount of the bid proposal. Said bid se-
curity shall be forfeited to the City of
Chubbuck as liquidated damages
should the successful bidder fail to enter
into contract in accordance with their
proposal as specified in the Instructions
to Bidders.
The City of Chubbuck reserves the right
to reject any or all proposals, waive any
nonmaterial irregularities in the bids re-
ceived, and to accept the proposal
deemed most advantageous to the best
interest of the City of Chubbuck.
