'�� �\`\\\ ////11��llllllll i11\I\U\\\ RFO 09-001 City of Chubbuck - Northwest Sewer Inter- ceptor Program, Portion B Paradise Lift Station / Force Main and Gravity Sewer From Rio Vista Road to Hiline Road Pursuant to IC 67-2805, "Procurement of Public Works Construction", the City of Chubbuck (City), Idaho is requesting State- ments of Qualifications (SOQ) from li- censed public works contractors who are interested in bidding on the Northwest Sewer Interceptor Program, Portion B Paradise Lift Station and Force Main / Gravity Sewer From Rio Vista Road to Hiline Road. The project consists of ap- proximately 16,400 feet of gravity sewer ranging from 8" to 27" diameter, approxi- mately 5,400 feet of 12" force main, 700 LF of 8" force main, and the construction of one site -built lift station with a capacity of 4 cfs. Actual bid quantities may change pending the ongoing final design of the project. Several borings underneath water- ways and railroad are anticipated as part of the project. The opinion of estimated proj- ect cost is between $6,000,000 and $9,000,000. It is estimated that the project will bid in the summer or fall of 2009 and have a contract duration of approximately nine (9) months. The City reserves the right to cancel or postpone bidding or award of a contract for the project. The Request for SOO Informational Packet contains the project description, SOO forms and requirements, and evaluation criteria. Contractors must submit a response in the format outlined in the Request for Contrac- tor Qualifications. Any response may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time be- low for the opening of the responses or au- thorized postponement thereof. Upon receipt of SOQs, the City will evaluate Statements and determine which contrac- tors are qualified to bid. If the City pro- ceeds with bidding of the project, all firms deemed qualified by the City will be invitec to submit formal bids for the project as de- lineated in the Project Manual, which is cur- rently under development. Formal bic forms will generally conform to the formai specified in the most recent Engineers Joini Contract Documents Committee (EJCDC Contract Documents. Any protest of determination of qualificationE _ or bidding procedures will be handled in ac cordance with procedures delineated in IC 67-2805.
