COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
May 30, 1984 -
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,
on May 30, 1984.
Present: President of Council Becky A. Hopkins, Councilmembers Leroy S. Quick,
Thomas S. Nield, Steven M. England, Engineer Steven M. Smart and City Clerk
Ron C. Conlin. Mayor Cotant was excused.
Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President of Council Becky Hopkins.
OBJECT OF SPECIAL MEETINQ was to consider Installation of additional water
main in Yellowstone Ave. to avoid potential freezing problems.
YELLOWSTONE AVE - Mr. Boyd Wilson, H.K. Contractors was present.
Engineer Smart stated H.K. Contractors had reported to him there could
be a potential problem with the freezing of the water line down Yellowstone
Ave. Engineer Smart said the State would like to have the City of Chubbuck
address the problem as soon as possible.
Mr. Wilson presented an estimated cost of $340,000.00 to lower the pipe and
connections down Yellowstone Ave.
After discussion on alternative ways of correcting the problem Council Nield
moved to adjourn the meeting to May 31, at 3:30 p.m. Councilman England
seconded. All Councilmembers voted in favor of motion.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned
President of the Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby
calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the
Chubbuck City Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., at the
the hour of 5:30 p.m., on this date the 30th of May, 1984. The
object of the special meeting shall be to consider the following:
Installation of additional water main in Yellowstone Ave. to avoid
potential freezing problems.

TO: PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO.
Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby
given of a special meeting of the Chubbuck City Council at the time
and place, and for the object, recited in the call.
