COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
September 4, 1984
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,
September 4, 1984.
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Beckv A. Hopkins, Leroy S.
Quick, Thomas S. Nield, Steven M. England, Engineer Steven M. Smart and
City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Attorney B. Lynn Winmill was excused.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is a public hearing for 1984-85 Fiscal Budget.
PUBLIC HEARING - 1984 - 85 Fiscal Budget - Mayor Cotant and council reviewed the
budget in it's entirety. The public hearing notice and budget includes
proposed revenue of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds and also the budget
expenditures of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds which qualifies this public
hearing as the hearing required on Federal Revenue Sharing Funds also.
ORDINANCE #258 - Appropriating the several sums of,money deemed necessary_
and sufficient to defray all expenses and liabilities of the City of Chubbuck
for the Fiscal Year beginning on the lst. day of October 1984 anoJending on
the 30th day of September 1985, and known as the "Annual Appropriation Ordinance
of Fiscal Year 1984-85" was read in full by Mayor Cotant.
Councilman Quick moved to dispense with the rule of reading Ordinance #258 on
three separate days. Councilman Nield seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes;
Hopkins, yes; Nield, yes; England, yes.
Councilwoman Hopkins moved to adopt Ordinance #258, Annual Appropriation Ordinance
of Fiscal Year 1984-85. Councilman England seconded. Roll Call Vote: Hopkins, yes;
Quick, yes; Nield, yes; England, yes.
At 9:15 p.m., Councilman Nield moved, Councilman England seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned
Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special
meeting of the City Council to bE! held at the Chubbuck City
Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone, at the hour of 7:30 p.m.,
on this date the 4th of September, 1984. The object of the special
meeting shall be to consider the following: Discuss and adopt
proposed 1984-85 Fiscal Budget.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO.
Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby given
of a special meeting of the Chubbuck City Council at the time and place,
and for the object, recited in the call.
