COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November 9, 1992
Minutes of a special meeting held at the city municipal building,
November 9, 1992.
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Steven M. England, W. Dean Wood, PWD Steven M. Smart and City
Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Councilman David A. Landon and Attorney
Thomas J. Holmes were excused.
Meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Mayor Cotant. '
PURPOSE OF MEETING is to discuss proposed utility rate increase. -
UTILITY RATE DISCUSSION - PWD Smart gave a report on proposed
sanitation rate increase.
Discussion about tipping fee Bannock County is implementing.
Councilman Wood expressed concern about the additional
$300,000.00 more than anticipated funds required. Councilman
Wood suggested the City of Chubbuck collect and keep the
additional funds until needed, if needed. PWD Smart stated
Bannock County are the ones with the landfill responsibility.
City Clerk Conlin was directed to find out if the $36,000.00
budgeted to Sanitation Health Insurance is a correct amount,
it seems high.
After considerable discussion, at 6:20 p.m., Councilman England
moved, Councilman Wood seconded, with full council approval
to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal Building, at
the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Monday, the 9th. day of November, 1992.
The object of the special meeting is to discuss proposed Utility
Rate Increases.
