Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the Chubbuck Public Works Conference Room, June 10",
2003.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, B. Kent Kearns, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and City Clerk Ron
C. Conlin. Attorney Thomas J. Holmes was excused.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING was to discuss 2003 -2004 Fiscal Year Budget.
2003 -2004 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET - City Clerk/Treasurer Ron Conlin presented proposed
2002 -2003 FY Revenues as compared to the actual 2002 -2003 FY Revenues through May
31 st, 2003.
Considerable discussion on how to save on the 2003 -2004 health insurance premiums.
CC /T Conlin stated July 1st, 2004 the City PERSI contributions will increase to 10.39%
,^ for Class I, General Employees and 10.73% for Class II Employees.
PWD Smart stated BI Ray Griffin is to the point of needing help on building inspectior,s.
Discussion about best way to help.
CC /T Conlin has asked for 2003 -2004 Budgets from Departments Heads, they should be
turned in before July Meeting.
At 6:45 p.m, Councilman Quick moved, Councilman England seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.
