Council Meeting Minutes
March 12, 2013
7:00 p.m.
Minutes of a regular Council Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, March 12,
2013.
Present: Mayor Steven England, Council Members: Josh Ellis, Kevin England, Brent Marshall,
Kermit Morrison. Attorney Thomas Holmes, Public Works Director Steven Smart, City Clerk
Rich Morgan.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mayor Steven England.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Mayor Steven England.
Approval of Minutes - Council Member Marshall moved to approve the regular meeting
minutes of February 26, 2013. Council Member Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: England -
yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
Acceptance of Offer of Dedication for Unforgettable Events Subdivision was presented to
the council. Steve Smart explained that all the requirements of the City have been completed.
Council Member England moved to accept the Offer of Dedication for Unforgettable Events.
Council Member Marshall seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes,
Morrison -yes.
Pocatello Amateur Radio Club has requested permission to spend one night at Stuart Park. The
club has reserved the park for Saturday June 22, 2013 and Sunday June 23, 2013. This will allow
the clubs full participation in the annual field day event sponsored by the American Radio
League.
Council Member England moved to allow the Pocatello Amateur Radio Club to stay overnight,
from June 22 to June 23, at Stuart Park. Council Member Ellis seconded. Roll call vote:
England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
Chubbuck Development Authority Board Appointments - Steve Hadley and Blake Jones
were presented as reappointments to the CDA board. Their appointment would be a new 4 year
term.
Council Member Ellis moved to ratify the appointments to the CDA board. Council Member
Marshall seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.

Computer printout claims for March 12, 2013 were presented to Mayor England and Council.
Council Member Morrison moved to approve the claims. Council Member England seconded.
Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
At 7:23pm Council Member Morrison moved to Adjourn. Council Member Marshall seconded
and the full Council approved.
