COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
February 11 `h, 2003
Minutes of a regular meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, February 11 `h, 2003.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, B. Kent Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven
M. Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG was lead by John Carter.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Mayor Cotant asked for corrections and additions to the Regular
Meeting Minutes of January 281h, 2003.
Councilman Kearns moved to approve Regular Meeting Minutes of January 28`h, 2003 as
read, Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
PUBLIC HEARING - An application by Heritage Development, LLC, P.O. Box 2684,
Pocatello, Idaho 83201 for a preliminary plat for Heritage West Subdivision, 8th Addition.
Property is located at the end of Peterburg and Constitution Streets.
Mayor Cotant declared the public hearing open, there being no comment, Mayor Cotant
declared the public hearing closed.
Councilman England moved to approve the Heritage West Subdivision, 8`h Addition
Preliminary Plat as presented, Councilman Kearns seconded. All council members voted
in favor of motion.
ORDINANCE - An ordinance annexing certain lands to be included within the boundaries and
jurisdictional limits of the City of Chubbuck; specifying the zoning classification which
shall be applied to said lands newly annexed to the City of Chubbuck, Wilson property on
Hiline Road.
Attorney Holmes read ordinance by title only for the second reading.
Council tabled the ordinance until the February 25`h, 2003 Council Meeting.

LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS - Mayor Cotant
recommended the following appointments to the Land Use and Development
Commission:
Deloy Stuart Term to expire 2004
Michelle Miller Term to expire 2004
Lee Merrill Term to expire 2004
Lisa Leavitt Term to expire 2006
Councilman Kearns moved to direct Mayor Cotant to appoint Deloy Stuart, term expires
2004, Michelle Miller, term to expire 2004, Lee Merrill, term to expire 2004 and Lisa
Leavitt, term to expire, 2006 as members of the Land Use & Development Commission,
Councilman Gunter seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
CLAIMS - Computer print -out claims presented to Mayor Cotant and Council.
•--, Councilman Gunter moved to approve computer print -out claims as presented,
Councilman England seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
At 7:40 p.m, Councilman England moved, Councilman Gunter seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.
