Present: President of Council Earl L. Romriell, Councilmen Dwain A. Kinghorn, LeRoy S. Quick and Clerk Vera C. Armstrong. President of Council Earl Romriell called the public hearing meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. Councilman Quick moved to recess the public hearing until later in evening after the business of the adjourned council meeting. Councilman Kinghorn seconded motion. Voting was unanimous by the councilmen present. Mayor Cotant called the meeting which was recessed at 6:45 p.m. to order at 9:20 p.m. Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilman Boyd L. Fullmer, Dwain A. Kinghorn, LeRoy S. Quick, Earl L. Romriell, Attorney Donald L. Burnett, Jr., and Clerk Vera C. Armstrong. CHAPTER V - Planned UNit Developments, Section 5-11, page 30, add new paragraph (c) renumbering other paragraphs and sub-paragraphs consecutively, such paragraph (c) to read as follows: "Where any inf6rmation required by this section is substantially similar to information required to be presented by the developer in compliance with the city's land development ordinance, such information may be utilized for both purposes." CHAPTER VI, Non Conforming Uses, Section 6-1, Under Purpose, line 3, page 34, at end of sentence strike words "their survival" and substitute words "them to be perpetuated." CHAPTER VI, Section 6-3, Single Non-Conforming Lots of Record, lines 8 and ll, page 34; insert words "minimum lot" prior to word "width" CHAPTER ¥I, Section 6-4, Non Conforming Lots of Record in Combination, page 35, lines 1 and 4; insert word "minimum" prior to "lot width, and further on line 7, insert word "minimum" prior to word "width". CHAPTER VII, Section 7-3, page 37, change title to "Notices, Hearings and Decisions", and further add new sentence at end of paragraph to read as follows: "Both the commission and the Council shall state reasons for their decisions and shall state what actions, if any, applicants could take to obtain variances or conditional use permits that have been denied." CHAPTER VII, Section 7-4, page 38, change title to "Variances" add paragraph (a) titled "Limitation" and starting with first sentence in Section 7-4, and further add a new paragraph (b) titled "Appeals". Attorney Burnett to add this paragraph which will set forth rules and regulation concerning appeals. CHAPTER VII, Section 7-5, Expedited Processing of Conditional Use Permits for Certain Production Dwellings, line 5, page 38; strike words "in prior proceedings" and substitute words "by resolution". Council proposed adopting Appendix A (Land Use Ordinance Description of Districts) and Appendix B (Map of Land Use Districts.
