This hearing is a continuation of a session conducted and recessed by the
council on July 5, 1978, in compliance with the Idaho Local Planning Act
of 1975.
President of Council Earl L. Romriell declared the public hearing open at 10:45 p.m. on
the adoption of the Land Use Ordinance which sets forth permitted and
conditionally permitted uses thereof, and which serves in part to implement
the provisions of the comprehensive plan, pursuant to the Local Planning
Act of 1975.
Present: President of Council Earl L. Romriell, Councilmen Boyd L. Fullmer,
LeRoy S. Quick, Attorney Donald L. Burnett, Jr., Engineer Steven M. Smart,
and City Clerk Vera C. Armstrong. Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr. and Councilman
Dwain A. Kinghorn excused as they are attending the AIC Convention in Sun
Valley.
The council continued reviewing and making some changes on the schedule of controls
of land uses in the various zone districts listed in the ordinance in Section
2-3; sub paragraph (b) pages 7 and 8, and also the additional land uses proposed
by the Planning and Zoning Commission in their hearings.
Councilman Quick moved, Fullmer seconded, with approval of council that
meeting be recessed at 11:30 p.m., until July 25, 1978 following items on
the regular council meeting agenda.
