September 17, 1980
Minutes of a special council meeting called by Mayor Cotant and held in
the city municipal building September 17, 1980.
Present: Mayor John O. Cota~t, Jr., Councilmembers Becky A. Hopkins,
Dwain A. Kinghorn, LeRoy S. Quicks Earl L. Romriell and City Clerk
Vera C. Armstrong.
Meeting called to order at 5:10 p.m.
The object of the special meeting is to consider publishing bids for a city
shop building and also to consider yearlysalaryi~creases for city personnel
for fiscal year 1980-81.
SALARIES - After a thorough review of personnel salaries and discussion of
same, Councilwoman Hopkins moved that all employees receive an eight (8)
per cent raise, or employees with less than $100.00 per month raise
at eight per cent will receive $100.00 per month salary increase.
Councilman Romriell seconded motion, all councilmembers voted in favor
of motion.
It was decided to hold an employee meeting Wednesday, September 24th at
5:00 p.m.
SHOP BUILDING - Mayor Cotant asked councilmembers of their feeling as to
making publication for bids on a shop building.
After discussion, Councilman Romriell moved to publish for bids on a
shop building. Councilman Quick seconded motion. All councilmembers
voted in favor.
Councilman Romriell moved that meeting adjourn at 7:45 p.m., Councilman
Romriell seconded motion with all

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Seceion 50-604, the undersigned
mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho hereby calls a special
meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck City
Offices, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, at the hour of 5:00 p.m.,
on this date, the 17th of September, 1980. The object of
the special meeting shall be to consider publishing for bids
for a shop building for the city and also to consider yearly
salary increases for the city personnel for the fiscal year
1980-81.

TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby
given of a special meeting of the Chubbuck City Council at
the time and place, and for the object, recited in the call.
