Minutes of the continued Public Hearing meeting of May 13, held in the
city municipal building May 20, 1980.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Dwain A. Kinghorn,
LeRoy S. Quick, City Clerk Vera C. Armstrong. Councilwoman Becky A.
Hopkins excused. Councilman Earl L. Romriell called in to report he
could not attend. Attorney Donald L. Burnett, Jr. excused because
of sickness.
Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
Councilman Quick moved to continue the public hearing on Land Use and Land
Development proposed amendments items on public hearing notice dated
March 18, 1980 because of a lack of quorum until after the regularly
scheduled council agenda items of the May 27 council meeting. Councilman
Kinghorn seconded motion with all councilmembers present voting in favor.
