RESOLUTION NO. 2 -2009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, ESTABLISHING
PERMIT FEES AUTHORIZED UNDER CHAPTER 8.44, "CONSTRUCTION SITE SEDIMENT
AND EROSION CONTROL " IN THE REVISED AND COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK; PROVIDING THAT THESE FEES WILL BE IN EFFECT AS OF APRIL 1, 2009.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 664 passed by the City Council on February 10, 2009, and
deemed effective on February 26, 2009, provided for the establishment of permit fees and other
miscellaneous fees pursuant to Federal regulations for the establishment of methods to control and
eliminate the introduction of pollutants of concern into the municipal storm sewer system and into the
air shed; and
WHEREAS, Federal regulations for the establishment of methods to control and
eliminate the introduction of pollutants of concern into the municipal storm sewer system and into the
air shed further require the establishment of permit fees and other miscellaneous fees within ninety days
of the enactment of a municipality's ordinance adopting said methods; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering staff have reviewed and recommended fees pursuant to
the said Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommended fees and determined that
said fees are appropriate and should be established for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK that fees be established for permit fees and other miscellaneous fees for the remainder of
Fiscal Year 2009 pursuant to CHUBBUCK Municipal Code Chapter 8.44 as follows:
1. General Permits, Site Specific Permits and Special Site Permits shall be established as
follows:
Single Family Residence with approved building permit Fee Waived
Projects encompassing less than five (5) acres $ 50.00*
Projects encompassing between five (5) and ten (10) acres $100.00*

Projects encompassing more than ten (10) acres $150.00*
*General Permit fees, Site Specific Permit fees and Special Site Permits fees
shall be reduced by 25% until 12/31/09 for permit applicants who have
completed an approved certification course.
2. Permit Transfer Fee
$25.00
3. Renewal Fee of Expired Permit One -half of original permit fee
Fee waived if work is in progress at the time of renewal
4. Original Permit Fee applied for after
commencement of construction Double original permit fee
5. Certification Fee $25.00
Fee waived if training course is successfully completed by
12/31/09. Fee waiver does not include cost of educational materials.
6. Interim Certification Fee $25.00
Fee will be credited toward Certification Fee if certification
is completed within six (6) months of issuance of interim
certificate.
7. Replacement Fee for Lost Certification Card
1St replacement during certification period $0.00
2"d or more replacements during certification period $10.00
8. Training Instructor Certification Application Fee $25.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these fees shall be effective as of April 1, 2009.
