RESOLUTION No. 11 -2008
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING THE RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE
CITY FOR WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT SERVICES FURNISHED THROUGH THE
MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Section 13.04.020 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code provided that the rates for
wastewater collection and treatment services furnished through the municipal wastewater system
shall be set by resolution:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Chubbuck that effective,
December 1, 2008, the monthly charges for this service shall be as follows:
WASTEWATER MONTHLY SERVICE RATES
Base Charge: S 18.37 Per equivalent single family dwelling as reasonably determined by the
Public Works Director. No minimum charge shall be less than one (1) single family
equivalent.
Volumetric Charge: $2.27 per one thousand gallons metered water for customers north of 1 -86.
$2.83 per one thousand gallons metered water for customers south of 1 -86
Billing Charge: $1.41 per bill.
CONNECTION FEES
Each residential connection within present city municipal boundaries: $1000 per equivalent
single family dwelling as reasonably determined by the Public Works Director.
Each residential connection without present city municipal boundaries: $5229 per equivalent
single family dwelling as reasonably determined by the Public Works Director.
Each commercial or industrial connection within present city municipal boundaries: To be
calculated by the Public Works Director, taking the expected average flow per day, multiplied by
each: a peaking factor of 1.69 and then the cost of $2.18 per gallon per day flow.
Each commercial or industrial connection without present city municipal boundaries: To be
calculated by the Public Works Director based upon the equivalent single family dwelling unit.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
THIS 25th DAY OF November, 2008.
