Council Meeting Minutes
November 9, 2011
7:00 p.m.
Minutes of a regular council meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, November 9,
2011. Present: Mayor Steven England, Council Members; Josh Ellis, Kent Kearns, Kermit
Morrison, Attorney Thomas Holmes, Public Works Director Steven Smart, Deputy Clerk Eric
Jablonski
Absent: Council Member Kevin England and City Clerk Rich Morgan.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor England.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Mayor England.
Approval of Minutes - Mayor England asked for corrections and additions to the regular meeting
minutes of October 25, 2011.
Council Member Kearns moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of October 25, 2011.
Council Member Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -yes.
Appeal of one condition on the approval of the Romriell Conditional Use Permit. Land Use
approved the CUP and required the entire project be to paved. Romriell's would like to pave the
access road and approach only and have a gravel surface for the storage unit area.
Council Member Ellis moved to approve the appeal. Council Member Kearns seconded. Roll
call vote: Ellis -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -yes.
Chief King presented the city's Emergency Operations Plan.
Council Member Kearns moved to accept the City's EOP. Council Member Morrison seconded.
Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -yes.
Computer print -out claims for November 9, 2011 were presented to Mayor England and Council.
Council Member Morrison moved to approve the claims. Council Member Kearns seconded.
Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -yes.
At 7:23pm Council Member Morrison moved to adjourn. Council Member Kearns seconded and
the full council approved.
