Council Meeting Minutes
May 10, 2011
7:00 p.m.
Minutes of a regular council meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, May 10,
2011. Present: Mayor Steven England, Council Members; Josh Ellis, Kevin England, Kent
Kearns, Kermit Morrison, Clerk Rich Morgan.
Absent: Attorney Thomas Holmes, Public Works Director Steve Smart.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mayor England.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Kaden Burke of BSA Troop 351.
Invocation was offered by President Kevin Loveland of the Tyhee Stake of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter -Day Saints.
Approval of Minutes - Mayor England asked for corrections and additions to the regular meeting
minutes of April 26, 2011.
Council Member Kearns moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of April 26, 2011.
Council Member Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, England -yes, Kearns -yes,
Morrison -yes.
Proclamation - Community Wide Clean -Up Month Proclamation was read in full by Mayor
England.
Bids for Hiline Road Restoration were presented. Jack B. Parsons Co. bid of $170,987 was
accepted by the council.
Council Member England moved to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with Jack B.
Parsons Co. for Hiline Road Restoration.
Council Member Ellis seconded. Roll Call vote: Ellis -yes, England -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -
yes.
Computer print -out claims for May 10, 2011 were presented to Mayor England and Council.
Council Member Kearns moved to approve the computer print -out claims as presented. Council
Member Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: Ellis -yes, England -yes, Kearns -yes, Morrison -yes.
At 7:12pm Council Member England moved to adjourn. Council Member Morrison seconded
and the full council approved.
