AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING ORDINANCE #657, THE
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1ST, 2008 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30T", 2009; APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONIES THAT ARE TO BE
RECEIVED BY THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO IN THE SUM OF $1,784,020. AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
Section l: That Ordinance #657, the appropriating ordinance for the City of Chubbuck, Idaho for
the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2008 and ending September 30, 2009, be the same is hereby
amended as follows:
That the additional sum of $ 218,162 be appropriated out of general fund revenues and grants
received and general fund balance to be used for authorized activities in law enforcement;
That the additional sum of $ 27,755. be appropriated out of general fund revenues and grants
received and general fund balance to be used for authorized activities in fire control;
That the additional sum of $100,000. be appropriated from utility fund revenues received and
utility fund balance to be used for authorized activities in sanitation;
That the additional sum of $1,038,509. be appropriated from a loan with the State of Idaho
Department of Environmental Quality to be used for authorized activities in waste water.
That the additional sum of $399,594 be appropriated from the employee benefit fund Balance to
be used for authorized activities.
Section 2: That the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate days is hereby
dispensed with, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its approval and publications provided by
law.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this
29th day of September, 2009.
