COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
January 29, 2010
Minutes of a Special Council Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, January 29,
2010.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Council members Kent Kearns, Kermit G. Morrison, Kevin
England, Joshua D. Ellis, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart, City Treasurer Rich
Morgan and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Mayor England.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING shall be - the Council may wish to enter into a contract on
behalf of the Chubbuck Impact Area Wastewater Collection Authority for construction of
Phase 1, Portion B of the NW Bannock County Sewer Interceptor project.
BID RECAP - CHUBBUCK IMPACT AREA WASTEWATER COLLECTION AUTHORITY
NORTHWEST SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROGRAM FOR PHASE 1, PORTION B -
Bridger Morrison, JUB Engineering, Pocatello, Idaho presented the following bid recap:
COP Construction, LLC $ 10,028,986.00
Jack B. Parson Company (Staker Parson) $ 10,466,947.82
Knife River Construction $ 7,103,417.66
Whitaker Construction $ 7,249,999.00
Councilman Kearns moved to accept the low bid of $7,103,414.66 from Knife River
Construction, authorizing Mayor England to enter into contract with Knife River
Construction, Councilman Morrison seconded. Roll Call Vote: Kearns, yes; Ellis, yes;
England, yes; Morrison, yes.
At 4:20 p.m, Councilman Morrison moved, Councilman England seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the 29 day of, January, 2010. Council may wish to
enter into a contract, on behalf of the Chubbuck Impact Area Wastewater Collection Authority
for construction of Phase 1, Portion B of the NW B ck County Se 'K,c eptor project.
